Residents reported large ice chunks measuring up to 7cm in some areas. Weather authorities announced that multiple regions across Queensland had been impacted by significant hail.

Rescue organizations received over five hundred requests for assistance across the state, mostly for building damage but also for fallen timber and inundation.

Meteorological Predictions
Humid circumstances were expected to linger along significant areas of the state's eastern regions this next several days as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the shoreline.
The following day was predicted as the wettest day, with continued thunderstorm potential anticipated across different parts of both states.

Health officials warned that there was an higher risk of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the state's northern country region, particularly given the current weather patterns.
