In a bizarre collaboration that challenges usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Uncovered
According to the authorized release, "A mysterious meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of prohibited practices and fearsome transformations resonate through the obscurity." The plot features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine cult.
The adventure focuses on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana alongside numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
